Restylane

Collagen in the dermal layer of the skin gradually decreases as we age, resulting in a loss of skin firmness and volume.

A hyaluronic acid, Restylane is a synthetic polysaccharide that is a natural component of skin tissue. It helps sustain moisture in the dermal layer of the skin to revitalize a natural appearance.

Depending on the patient's age, skin type and damage, Restylane injections should improve skin texture for up to a year.

Restylane injections are painless. Slight side affects, including bruising, soreness and itching, may occur.

Mesotherapy

Designed to reduce cellulite and small-regions of fat, mesotherapy is a safe and painless procedure.

An alternative to liposuction, once injected, the medications melt the fat beneath the skin and shrink the fat cells. Sessions are usually scheduled two weeks apart. Response to the treatment varies with each patient. We generally recommend that patient's receive six treatments to achieve the desired result.

Following therapy, the patient should maintain their weight in order to see long-lasting results.

Palomar Pulsed Light Hair Removal

Palomar Pulsed Light Hair Removal is a permanent, fast solution to eliminate unwanted hair. Pulses of light are emitted onto the hair follicles using specialized handpieces. The light is converted into heat, which in turn loosens unwanted hair and prevents regrowth.

The lasers are engineered to treat a wide region of skin at the same time. Except for directly under the eyes, any area, including the upper lip, face, neck, underarms, legs, chest, bikini line and back can be treated. Small areas can be treated within ten minutes or less, while larger areas can be treated in roughly 30 minutes.

Following treatment, patients may experience a mild sunburn-like sensation and swelling, which usually lasts between 2-24 hours. Cold gel or ice packs can soothe the irritation.

Generally, several treatments may be needed to achieve permanent hair reduction.

Palomar RejuveLux

The Palomar Rejuvelux provides pulsed light photofacials that reduce the effects of sun damage and spider veins to create a rejuvenated appearance. The process is safe and comfortable. Patients can return to work following the treatment.

Pulses of light are emitted onto the skin using specialized handpieces. The light is converted into heat, which in turn dissolves damaged skin cells and shrinks spider veins. A wide area of skin can be treated at once. Except for directly under the eyes, any area, including the face, neck, chest, arms and back can be treated.

After treatment, patients may experience a slight sunburn sensation, as well as minor swelling. An ice pack or cold gel can soothe the irritation. This generally lasts between 2-24 hours.

Several treatments may be needed to obtain desired results. Sunspots will shed naturally within 1-2 weeks. Spider veins may disappear within 10-14 days.
